Living in a hotel did not put a damper on the Easter spirit in the Mackey “house.” Despite seven weeks living in a hotel, Katie made sure to hide Easter eggs in the room last night so Ethan could hunt for them this morning.

Today I am grateful for the simple joy of a cardboard box. This picture was from yesterday, but I was reminded of it when Katie had to call me to ask where Ethan’s shoes were; they were the first thing he put in this box.
