About Story Jam

Story Jam Theatre was created by New York transplant Chris Krimitsos after moving to Tampa and missing the creative scene of his beloved NY.

On September 23rd, 2014 (Chris’ Birthday), he invited a few friends to share stories that had impacted them…and Story Jam Theatre was born!

The stories were so profound, they deeply touched all who were in attendance. Inspired by his wife’s podcast Biz Women Rock, he set out to create this podcast to leverage the medium and bring these stories to the world!

Help us grow by sharing these stories with friends and letting us know if you have a story of your own to share!

Live Shows

We are currently producing the majority of our shows out of Tampa Bay, Florida. We will be expanding to other cities in the Southeast as the Story Jam Theatre community grows.

What is a podcast? – PP6

A new episode of Pocket Podcaster has just been published over at Pocket Podcaster titled “What is a podcast? – PP6.”

What is a podcast?

Today we interview Steve Cherubino and ask the question “what is a podcast?” We also talk about what a podcast is for and why you might want to consider having one. This is mostly a conception conversation, although we begin to delve a little into the technicalities of podcasting, such as what an RSS feed is and how it makes a podcast possible.

PP 5 – How to edit video on iPhone for Free

A new episode of Pocket Podcaster has just been published over at Pocket Podcaster titled “PP 5 – How to edit video on iPhone for Free.”

How to edit video on iPhone for Free

In this episode I show how to edit and trim your video on your iPhone or iPad using the built in Photos app. This simple app that comes right on your iOS device allows you to trim a video’s beginning and end to cut out any extra footage. It can NOT however allow you to cut out of the middle or join two together.

Once you trim the clip to your liking, you can save the video as a new video on your camera roll if you have the space, or else you can replace the previous video with the newly trimmed version. I caution you to not save over the original if you have the space. You can always go back and delete the original afterwards. This way if you trim too much, you can always go back and do it over again.

PP 4 – Why Start A Podcast?

A new episode of Pocket Podcaster has just been published over at Pocket Podcaster titled “PP 4 – Why Start A Podcast?.”

PP 4 – Why Start A Podcast?

In this episode, I explain why I decided to start this podcast on this topic in particular. Podcasting can be easier, more fun, and more effective than just simply blogging. There seems to be a bit more “grace” with listeners and viewers of video and audio than their is with written content. And besides that, you probably always have your iPhone with you, right?

In a later episode I will show you how you can literally carry everything you need to produce a podcast like this in your pockets (or purse, or jacket).

Please leave feedback on this episode on Youtube or on this post. And please leave a review on iTunes.
